Behind The Walls / Exibition

In the heart of Ljubljana, Slovenia, a unique and immersive art exhibition captivated audiences with the mesmerizing effects of lenticular prints. The exhibition showcased the cutting-edge potential of lenticular technology, which allows for the creation of 3D-like images or animations that change depending on the viewer’s perspective. The medium, known for its dynamic visual effects, added a layer of interactivity and depth to the exhibition, inviting viewers to engage with the artwork in a new and exciting way. Each lenticular print revealed different aspects of the work as one moved around it, creating an ever-shifting experience that reflected the theme of transformation and perception.

As a contributing artist, I was thrilled to present my work within this innovative format, allowing me to explore how lenticular prints could bring a new dimension to my artistic expression. My piece played with the contrast between static and dynamic imagery, utilizing the medium’s ability to shift and evolve as the viewer moved through the space.

By incorporating elements of movement, light, and shadow, I aimed to evoke a sense of time and change, challenging the viewer’s perception of reality and encouraging deeper engagement with the artwork.

The lenticular technology allowed me to push the boundaries of traditional art forms, creating a conversation between the physical space, the viewer, and the visual experience.

The exhibition also provided an exceptional platform for collaboration among artists from diverse backgrounds, all of whom embraced the lenticular medium to convey their individual artistic visions. From abstract compositions to surreal portraits, the works on display demonstrated the versatility and artistic potential of lenticular prints. Ljubljana’s vibrant art scene, with its rich history of supporting experimental and contemporary art, was the perfect setting for this forward-thinking exhibition. The response from visitors was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing awe at the innovative nature of the works and the captivating way in which the prints came to life before their eyes.
